Hi everybody!

So I’ve been bad about blogging this week. 1. because its hotter than bejesus and I don’t want to move. 2. I’m only a week out from putting up a reading of one of my other shows (www.joshuathemusical.com). 

However, here is what’s cooking in I Got Fired land!

1. We’ve set a date and location for our I Got Fired in Vermont benefit concert/cabaret! We’ll be performing excepts from the show as well as bringing on lots of special guests on Monday August 9th at The Flynn Space in Burlington Vermont. The show will be a benefit for the IGF Production and a co-production with Lyric Theater Company of Burlington VT. Hooray! More details to come. If you are in Vermont, you must come… we will have all sorts of exciting things to make it worth your while!

2. We’re going to be doing a benefit cabaret in September featuring IGF cast members as well as all of my B’way friends performing songs from IGF and other shows I have written. Lots more details to come on that one too.

3. We’re anxiously awaiting our dates and venue assignment from NYMF. We’ll be making that announcement as soon as we  know. We can’t wait, lots of stuff is cued up once we know, but we’re in a bit of a holding pattern in the meantime.

Well, gotta run… as it turns out, producing two musicals at once starts to eat into your time :)
