Day 36: Vermont gets fired?

Hey everybody!

Another busy day in I-Got-Fired-Land. I had a delightful telephone conversation with I Got Fired’s NYMF-provided dramaturg Jack DePalma (who is the head of Play Development at the Old Globe and the former Creative Director of NAMCO). Wow right? Jack is donating his time to help shepherd IGF through NYMF and beyond. He’s a brilliant man with a ton of experience. He’s also a heck of a nice guy.  I’m sure he’ll get sick of me peppering him with questions.

ALSO: the IGF team (including my parents) are beginning to set up a benefit concert/party up in Vermont (where I grew up) celebrating the show and all of the community theaters/teachers & friends I worked with when I was a kid. We’re aiming for an early August date that you will hear lots more about shortly.

ALSO ALSO: be prepared to get your invite for the Launch Party shortly! Hooray!

ALSO ALSO ALSO: we’re starting to sift through all of the resumes for our IGF Intern positions. If you want to be considered, send yours to stephaniemleaf@igotfiredmusical.com.

ALSO ALSO ALSO ALSO: The IGF Buttons will be here tomorrow! Come get one from me or anybody else on the IGF team for a small (but wildly appreciated) donation of $5. They will also be available at IGF events until they run out…

Talk to ya tomorrow!
